Troop 107 Grafton and Pack 107 have done 3 of these, Museum of Science in Boston, Worcester Tornadoes minor league baseball at Holy Cross field, and Battleship Cove in Fall River.
Recalliing my days as a Scout ... on the very, very narrow South Rim trail, between the Colorado River and Indian Garden (Grand Canyon). The OK Carrol, and the ruins (Clift dwellings) at Montezuma Well....
Done #2 with my older son at least twice. #8 is on my wishlist #10 has been done by my younger son's pack before he was old enough. My favorite campout with my older son was a farm with horses.
The sub is cool, but really does smell like oil all over. - & very cramped. - But then one of the scouts threw up, adding to the excitement! -
We have a summer league college basketball team in town. We got to camp on their field. Best part was it was free other than the game ticket. :) some of these are way cooler though.
Everytime I see this photo it cracks me up cause I'm just to the left of the boys, just outside the frame. My tent is actually on the boy in the middle's right shoulder. Lol Go Wilmington Bluerocks!!!
We've done a minor league baseball field. At the time it was the Daytona Cubs, now it's the Daytona Tortugas.
We have camped in the outfield at Petco Park, San Diego. Home of the Padres. We got to watch the movie "The Sandlot" on the jumbotron
I wonder if any of the scouts who camped in the aquarium awakened in the middle of the night and wondered where they were for a second!
