Still using the voo-doo math of the Tax Foundation. How about a different source saying the benefit besides a right leaning think tank?
and when you remove the mandate for insurance what is that going to do for insurance providers' growth, exactly? slimy weasels, all of you.
When even Forbes says this will hurt senior citizens and the middle-class............well.................you know that this tax plan belongs in the trash heap.
Hmm the sources I've seen seem to indicate mine will increase. And I would actually be ok with that were I getting better health care, funding for public schools, or an infrastructure bill instead of buying a corporate exec a 3rd vacation home.
Exactly who do you work for, Senator? Last I checked, you received a salary paid by taxpayers, but you certainly don't act like it! Every carve out for corporations seems to have remained, while precious few of those that help the rest of us did. What happened to closing the loopholes so everyone pays their fair share? How about starting with the offshoring debacle, which is surely unethical if not literally criminal.
For someone that is from a state right next door to Kansas and their horrifically failed example of what you are attempting to sneak past, you are pretty unobservant of reality.
No no no no no. When you eliminate tax deductions for average taxpayers that are designed to reward behaviors that stimulate the economy, the result is economic damage, not growth. Higher education, home ownership, and the purchase of goods stimulate the economy. When you remove deductions for student loan interest, mortgage interest, medical expenses, and school supply purchases you disincentivise these purchases. The current tax plan will not only hurt the middle class pocketbooks, it will hurt the economy.
And we don't bother wondering why all these guys have sly smirks on their faces. They benefit greatly by these tax cuts while the average Joe only benefits a few dollars.
Please explain to me how I a middle class man will benefit from repealing the Estate Tax which has a threshold of $5 million before it kicks in.
Kansas did this on state level. It didn't Work! Now they are trying to reverse all the tax cuts and etc. Includes electing new officials. You might have more money in your paycheck but be ready to pay a lot more in state and local taxes. You will also pay more tax at the gas pump and in sales tax. You will be making up for the tax break to the Super rich.
