How you ask? No clue, I thought it's Just what we do on the internet lol
Education . It gives our youth the ability to see and decifer things objectively. It's great to see them rejecting the Alt Right movement across the nation. It shows there is hope for the future even as things look so grim at the moment.
With the students leaving when Pence begins, the last speaker the graduates and their families will hear is Father Gregory Boyle. This man preaches and LIVES a life of love and full inclusion. Go forth, Norte Dame graduates, and walk a path of love and tolerance to all you meet. 💜
Much as I dislike Pence, walking out walks into his and the alt-right's hands. Stay and be quiet. No applause, no cheers or jeers, no boos, no response. Just silence.
I do not blame these young people. They have just finished the hardest years of their young lives and I am sure they don't want to listen to the crap and lies that the old men from the WH have to dish out. Pence, go home to mother.
It's perfect that the students contrasted Pence to the Pope. Considering everything Pence stands for is against what the Pope says, it's a confusing choice. #teardownwalls
Did you really think Catholics would put up with this evangelical idiot that calls his wife mother. Trump better kiss the Pope's ring or he is in for a rude awaking!!!!!
All college kids have smartphones. Download a mpg of chirping crickets. Let him talk, do not interrupt. At conclusion, activate phones, full volume. Thousands of phones playing chirping crickets. Respects his free speech, you still go to graduation, makes a great point, guaranteed to be broadcast around the world, instant meme. Win, win, win, check, and MATE! :)
Calmly walk out and find a computer, go to YouTube and find a real commencement address. Last weeks address at UW-Madision by Steve Levitan is a really good and inspiring. Either of the addresses John Green (who lives in Indianapolis) did at Kenyan College or Butler are also great.
I believe Pence is part of a sect that doesn't view Catholics as "true Christians", though he tends to downplay that in most circles for obvious political reasons...So, I don't know why the university invited him in the first place...
